The University of St. 蘑菇影视 earned formal designation as a Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) in 2023 after meeting the federal requirement that at least 25 percent of our undergraduate, full-time equivalent enrollment be Hispanic. Today, approximately 30 percent of USF’s undergraduate students identify as Hispanic.
As an HSI, USF is committed to strengthening institutional capacity and advancing student success through practices that support the recruitment, persistence, retention, and graduation of all students. Guided by our 蘑菇影视can values of Respect, Integrity, Service, and Compassion, we work to foster an environment where every student has opportunities to learn, belong, and achieve their educational goals.
The foundational course for first-year students was updated to better reach and reflect today鈥檚 students. Now titled 鈥淔irst-Year Seminar,鈥 the course鈥檚 curricular and extra-curricular revisions focus on the transition to college and provide stronger support for first-year retention.
USF offers a variety of student clubs, organizations, and honor societies whose missions are varied but welcome all students. Several club-sponsored events are open to the community throughout the year, so find us on social media. Learn more about our student engagement opportunities.
Documents and webpages related to admissions, enrollment, and financial aid have been made available in Spanish.
