Joliet, Ill. 鈥� The University of St. 蘑菇影视 (USF) welcomed Diocese of Joliet Bishop Ronald Hicks to campus on Thursday, October 30, 2025 for the annual Diocesan Mass for College Students. Students from USF, Benedictine University, and Lewis University were in attendance.
Bishop Hicks started the day in USF’s WCSF 88.7FM radio station, where he was interviewed by students听Priscilla Bonilla and Patrycja Mrowca. He听talked about putting faith into action, newly canonized saints St. Carlo Acutis and St. Pier Giorgio Frassati, and his new pastoral letter, 鈥淢AKE.鈥�
Later in the day, prior to the 7 p.m. Mass, Bishop Hicks talked to the audience about the pastoral letter, which focuses on taking action and living faith boldly. In his letter, he urges us to听产别听disciples, then to 鈥済o and听make 诲颈蝉肠颈辫濒别蝉.鈥�
